Texas Society of Architects 2025 Studio Awards
Registration/Submission Deadline: Tuesday, June 24, 2025
“The Texas Society of Architects Studio Awards recognize unbuilt projects that demonstrate excellence in design that are either real or theoretical. The jury looks for entries that: embody strong ideas critical to contemporary practice; resolve these ideas thoroughly; and present them clearly.”

Design Doha Prize 2026
Registration/Submission Deadline: Monday, June 30, 2025
“The Design Doha Prize is a prestigious biennial initiative providing recognition and support for exceptional talents in the fields of design across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Four designers are selected across 4 different design categories: Craft, Product Design. Furniture Design and Emerging Talent.
The prize empowers these designers, provides them with valuable guidance, and showcases their work to a wider audience.”

Daylight Award 2026
Registration/Submission Deadline: Monday, September 15, 2025
“The Daylight Award honours and supports research in the scientific understanding of daylight and its significance for health, wellbeing and a balanced ecosystem, as well as its experiential and mental value in architectural design. The intention is to underline the collaboration of disciplines that are usually considered as separate professional realms of expertise.
The Daylight Award strives to raise an integrated understanding of daylight in human life and the wider ecosystem, and to strengthen its positive impact.”

California Rebuilds: A Passive House Design Competition
Registration/Submission Deadline: Tuesday, September 30, 2025
“We invite architects and designers to showcase the power of Passive House in creating sustainable, healthy, and diverse fire-resilient communities, in various styles that reflect the vibrancy of Los Angeles. Submit your designs and help shape the future of rebuilding. Qualifying designs will be collected and distributed in a catalog to raise awareness of Passive House rebuilding benefits and pathways to make it a reality.”
